The Buckley House Restaurant is situated in the heart of downtown Marietta on Front Street, so named because it fronts the Muskingum River. The house itself was built in 1879 and is on the historic register. Before it opened as a restaurant in the fall of 2010, it served as a bed and breakfast for more than 14 years. A Victorian style home, with double porches, the Buckley House exudes Southern charm in a historic setting.

The first floor of the Buckley House, along with the exterior front porch and back deck and beautifully landscaped gardens, comprise the restaurant. The family/owners live upstairs.

We all welcome you to our HOUSE!

Executive Chef - Emad Al-Masri came to America from Kuwait in 1989. Within a couple of years he was supervising culinary-trained chefs at Sfuzzi, a contemporary bistro in Cleveland. A few years later he operated his own restaurant, The Middle Feast, in North Naples, Florida. Emad has experienced a range of places, cooking styles, and environments. His cooking cannot be classified, as it’s such a mix of cultures (his mother was Italian and his father was Lebanese). He believes in using the highest quality ingredients combined with his creative artistry and eclectic background. What results is magic!
